Groggy eyes peeled open, blinking away the sleep as his vision came in focus. He’d never been a sound sleeper; waking up at even the slightest of touched, Emily’s soft patter along his floor had been more than enough to pry him from his slumber.
—- "Em?“ He hardly had time to verbally react or protest (not like he was going to anyways,) but he assumed if she needed him, for whatever reason, he’d be there. That’s what friends were for, right?
Maybe the space about his house was too uncomfortable for her, after all there were people everywhere (Karen’s friend and Freddie's— not exactly their smartest feat; hosting two parties on the only night their father’s out), sleeping in any spot they’ve got. Maybe she just wanted someone by her rather than the cold floor and someone’s else’s thigh as a pillow. The bed did seem more enticing, and if he’d been in her position, he would have taken in hours ago.
And so he scooted over, allowing her enough space to rest.
"Keep alert,” he mumbled, closing his eyes and passing over enough blanket to keep her warm, “I tend to hog the covers.”
[i am going to genuinely look into this? pe does not correlate to my lifestyle jdhfjdksbfnfndnd]
omg it’s okay pe never correlates to anyone’s lifestyle b/c it’s never ever working to the extent anyone should. it’s always like bs strolling in the park and then a weekly mile.
notyourdoormat - “Surprise beautiful person! Once you get this, you must put it into at least eight peoples asks, (anonymously, or not), who deserve it. If you break the chain nothing will happen but it's nice to know that someone thinks you're beautiful :) you deserve it!”
”Jaysus fuck, Freddie. Treat your sister better!” She tossed that out with a nice laugh, but honestly, the amount of times that Katie’s fucked boys right across the room
”Course she is. If I can fly from New York, she can at least take a train from Manchester.”
“Alright! Alright— promise.” Of course, if Karen acted like a spoilt brat he’d have a word— naturally in the name of brotherly love.
"New York— fancy, ain’t it? Everyone’s gone out and branched out, strange seeing you all around Bristol again.“
